How will my order be shipped?
Orders are shipped UPS within 48 hours of receipt on business days. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
All orders are shipped discreetly with out anything on the package identifying the contents. The delivery guy won't even know what's in it!

Is it a Time Capsule?
Yes, it is very well suited to be used as a Time Capsule. It's tough, rugged build, convient size, and special design makes it especially appropriate for Time Capsules. Schools, Churches and organizations have purchased for use as a time capsule.
Can the Capsule be found by a metal detector?
No, the Capsule itself cannot be picked up by a metal detector. But, metal objects placed inside may be picked up by a metal detector depending on the depth you place it.
We need to consider how thieves operate. They are generally lazy opportunists. After breaking into a home they know where to look and then go after it. Everything in your home is susceptible to theft including those portable above ground home safes; if it's inside your home, it's in danger of being taken.
Thieves generally don't go around with a metal detector and shovel digging around for something to steal. If you have ever used a metal detector you know it takes an inordinate amount of time to search for anything that is underground. Have you ever seen a burglar with a shovel?
What if I forget where it's located?
Most likely, no one would forget where they buried their stuff. But, to be on the safe side, you should tell at least one family member where it is. You can also place some sort of anonymous marker on the area if you wish.
Is the Capsule water tight?
Yes, each safe is individually water tested prior to shipping.
Do I need to lubricate the O-rings?
The Capsule O-rings are shipped pre-lubricated. Use ONLY Parker Super O Lube if it becomes necessary to re-lubricate the O-rings; only a small amount of lube is required for each O-ring. Parker Super O Lube is available in stores and online.
Where can the Capsule be placed?
It can be buried most anywhere the surface can be covered to look like the surrounding area. There are many places around the average home suitable for your safe. It will then be undetectable.
