Find a suitable location to bury your safe; it could be in a landscaped area among shrubs, under bark dust, ground cover or behind a shed or barn. The possibilities are limitless. Anywhere the safe can be covered to look like the surrounding area will work. 

 

Next, provide the proper size hole to accept the safe.

Place valuables in your safe and hand tighten the cap in place. Your safe has been shipped with seals already lubricated. If any future lubrication is needed use ONLY Parker Super O Lube available in stores and online.

 

Place your safe vertically in the hole with the cap facing up and cover with 3” to 4” of soil and then cover the soil with what ever is native to the surrounding area whether it is bark dust, rock, miscellaneous debris, leaves or just native soil. It will then be virtually undetectable to thieves. In the future, after the soil has compacted around the safe, access the contents by removing the 3" to 4" of cover material, then remove the cap while leaving the safe in the ground.
